The mission of the MIU Placement and Career Services is to improve the employability of MIU’s students and graduates, by providing high quality guidance, information, career education and job search orientation. Through personalized support services, MIU help students to develop the skills and knowledge needed for informed career decision making. Furthermore, students are assisted in identifying their self-employment potential, and developing strong work ethics. MIU’s collective career services remain available to students throughout their entire time studying at the University.
MIU Placement and Career Services offer:
- CV/Resume writing
The importance of a well-written professional curriculum can not be underestimated. A curriculum is a great tool to advertise yourself and give the first impression of who you are, helping you capture the employer’s interest and fix the first job interview.
MIU supports students in drafting their own English CV and in various European and American formats with the aim of providing clear and accessible information and highlighting the main characteristics and qualities of the candidate.
- Job Interviews training
Graduates will receive training and specific advices devoted to preparing for job interviews.
- Career Day
The Placement Office periodically organizes Workshops and Career Day to enable students to gain valuable advice from international job professors and teachers. Events are a meeting point between students and public and private companies, financial institutions, non-profit organizations. The workshops focus on a variety of topics related to the different professional sectors and enable students to develop skills and knowledge useful for job searching.
